She is the author of Noah's Wife: 5500 BCE and Angels at the Gate, two award-winning novels about the wives of Biblical figures Noah and Lot. She also writes historical nonfiction about civil rights.

Great interview. I WAS as charmed as you were! I've had Angels at the Gate on my headboard and it just moved up to the top! Then I'll read Noah's Wife. Seems like these might be terrific candidates for book group.
