Seeing Through New Eyes

> We speak to Mordicai Gerstein, author of The White Ram, a picture book midrash about the sacrifice of Isaac. The White Ram won the National Jewish Book Award and a Sydney Taylor Honor Award.

> We hear from Rabbi Cary A. Friedman, author of Wisdom from the Batcave, about how Batman can teach each of us to live a super, heroic life.

> Musician Yoshie Fruchter describes his CD Beyond the Book, which provides a look into the subconscious of our biblical ancestors.

> Brynn Olenberg Sugarman tells of her picture book Rebecca's Journey Home, which is based on her own daughter's adoption. This book won a Sydney Taylor Honor Award.
