I would add "A Little Piece of Ground" by Elizabeth Laird to the NOT recommended list.

You need to add A Struggle for Hope by Carol Matas which is a rare recent book (Oct 2021) for young people that show Israel in a positive light - it's about the War for Independence, published by Scholastic Canada. Available here in Canada from Indigo/Chapters which we should buy from as it's being targetted by anti-Jewish boycotters:
